Wild Vanilla Apartment

The view was amazing, apartments were big and clean. Owners were very hospitable, they treated us to some delicious fruits. WiFi was good.

I had a wonderful, peaceful stay with breathtaking views in a great location. My hosts were superbly helpful from the moment of booking to my departure from Seychelles, organising my local travel, providing advice, greeting me upon arrival and checking in on me mid-stay. The apartment was clean, comfortable and in an incredibly peaceful spot, tucked away up in the hills. I already dream of returning! Thank you so much to the Gonthier family.

Everything was perfect

Really nice apartment, well maintained and with all you need for a nice stay in Beau Vallon. The view is great as it is really up on the hill. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had the basics to cook meals. The host was accommodating and the communication was easy.

It is a 15 mins walk up the hill, very steep. Best to rent a car if you don't want to hike up and down the hill.

Wild Vanilla is situated on a hill, so that you can enjoy a nice view from the top: the ocean and green hills. The apartment is big and spacious. It is nicely equipped with all the necessary facilities. If you decide to cook something for yourself you can do it. Every morning you can meet the sunrise with a cup of coffee on the balcony, enjoying birds singing . The nearby beach is called Beau Vallon. It is very wide and long and one can have a nice walk alongside especially at the sunset. To get there from the apartment it takes about 20 min by walk. Bus stop is also 20 min by walk.

As the apartment is situated on the hill you'll definately need to rent a car without it would be very difficult - this issue can spoil your vacation. So if you need to buy something you need to go downstairs and then go upstairs, as there are no shops nearby. Remember that it is an apartment (not a hotel) there is no one to meet you on the day of your check-in if a host doesn't know the time of your arrival. I pointed approximate time of my arrival but was a bit delayed to get a place. And when I was there, no one met me. I was a bit tired because of the road and had to find someone so that they could reach the host.

Jessy is a really good host. She prepaired the room before the checkin time for us and took us by car to the supermarket. She helped to organize a transport for a reasonable price.

The kitchen is not welll equipped for two guests: only small cups and bowles, the lightener for the gas stove was empty,. The lamps in the living room are poor, one is broken. The matress is hard and not very comfotable. In the living room is no aircon or fan and it could get really hot there.

Jessy is a very friendly person and she helped us with the trip from the port and to the beach. The apartment is so huge and the views are breathtaking.
