Hotel dongyangjang Dongdaemun-Jongno

Lcoation is great, few minutes walking from metro

- Strategic location (near to Dongmyo st.), facilities and friendly and helpful staff. 👍🏼👍🏼 - Most importantly, their toilet comes with bidet which most hotel/guesthouse lack of. - They upgrade my room for FOC.

- The space is quite small, but it is good enough for travelers who spend most of their time outside. - No elevator for higher level but they will help you to carry your heavy luggage to and from your room.

+ near the subway + the room has everything you need

- the flea market is right in front of the hotel - you can hear absolutely everything that happens outside the door of the room

At first I had mixed feelings, because I've arrived earlier and had to wait in a cafe in the area, and the area is... a flea market. Huge, gigantic, asian flea market! But when I finally was inside of my room all worries disappeared. The room was clean and full of everything you need. It even had a drying cabinet appliance. The stuff was very friendly. Interestingly enough flea market shuts down at around 7 pm, so in the evening the area is quite clean an empty.

Stairs. To reach your room you have to walk up the steep stairs and there is no lift of course. But it is a small hotel, so it was bearable.
