GBWe really enjoyed our one-night stay at M&M Apartment - Astoria. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with a comfortable setup perfect for a short city break. The early check-in option was a great bonus and made our arrival smooth and stress-free. The location is excellent – just a short walk from Astoria metro station and close to many attractions and restaurants. The apartment had everything we needed, including a full kitchen, washing machine, and air conditioning, which made the stay even more convenient.
Nothing to complain about – everything was as expected, and communication with the host was easy. I would gladly stay here again on my next visit to Budapest!

The list will get long… The apartment has immense potential, especially considering its location, the possibility to self check in and the possibility to accommodate 8 people in the city center for a reasonable price. However, this is where the good things stop. The apartment was filthy, from dust in cabinets, to sweat on the pillow and food residue covered all of the kitchen. Said kitchen that was completely different from the one visible on the apartment photos. A renovation must have happened and the owner of this apartment didn’t feel the need to update the photos. A new kitchen would be a good surprise, not being for the fact that they removed the exhaust, meaning all of the apartment became impregnated with the smell of food. But it got worst when we wanted to cook and we found all of the kitchen items ridiculously dirty, including lipstick on bowls, the oven has recent food stuck on the inside and a very small number of utensils, most of them dirty. A weird smell came through one of the bathrooms that meant we had to have the door closed at all times. Lastly, all of apartment showed signs of use and degradation, like cracks, and the windows were old and it seemed like we would’ve broke them, if we attempted to open them. The cherry on top? Although it’s advertised the apartment has TV and WIFI, the password didn’t work and even after asking for it again, the one provided was wrong as well and we had to use roaming data for internet.
RSGBI had an amazing time at this apartment! The location was perfect, right in the city center, with all the main attractions within walking distance. The flat was sparkling clean, well-equipped, and had a cozy atmosphere. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, providing great recommendations for local restaurants and activities. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area
