Very special, peaceful place with wonderful hosts who helped us so much! Nice walk into town and beautiful property and grounds. Excellent breakfast and many brochures and free maps available.

The location and hosts were wonderful!

We absolutely loved our stay at the Abbey Court. Brendon and Geraldine were delightful, warm and accommodating. We’d had a long drive and were tired. Brendon wanted to help with our bags and made us a tray of tea and biscuits to relax in their wonderful garden with spectacular views. The location is great, so close to town, roughly a 10/15 minute walk and a nice walk as they live in a quiet area. The house is beautifully kept, impeccable, the room was perfect, spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds and lovely bedding. We had a super evening in the town and decided to eat there; with so many restaurants and bars there’s food options for everyone. We enjoyed the colourful buildings and walked around getting into the warm and friendly Irish spirit. Our breakfast the next morning was really fantastic, cooked by Brendon and served by Geraldine in their beautiful morning rooms. There were plenty of options, my husband loved his full Irish and Brendon made a lovely vegetarian cooked breakfast with a mountain of scrambled eggs for me which was delicious. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Abbey Court to anyone traveling to Kenmare or around that area. We hope to come back and stay there again. There wasn’t anything.

On a passé un super séjour, très bien accueillis avec des boissons chaudes face au lac et moutons, la chambre était très confortable avec vue sur le lac, la maison est splendide ! Je recommande cet établissement où nous nous sommes reposés pendant notre voyage.

It’s a beautiful property just a short walk into town. We could see the sea from our window. The best part was the property owners! A great couple who were so kind, welcoming and helpful!
