This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had renting a property. Only 1 of the 2 bedrooms has a proper window with natural light and ventilation, the other, which was deceptively hidden behind a curtain in the listing photos, leads to a storage room (which conveniently was not shown in the photos at the time I booked). Most of the furniture is flimsy, especially the curtain rod which fell on my son’s head as soon as he sat on the bed below it. Moreover, the gas stoves were assembled incorrectly with caps over the stovetops, blocking them and keeping them from burning efficiently and safely, which is very dangerous and carries very real risks of CO poisoning. The owners and employees were extremely rude and disrespectful. Not only did they not appropriately address and follow up on my severe concerns about the property, in an attempt to evade responsibility for the said concerns, they branded me a liar and claimed that no other guest had ever complained before. They stated I should simply leave if I did not like the property, as if it is realistic to locate a new rental for a family of five in high season on short notice without an immediate refund. Additionally, the employee I had the misfortune of communicating with during my stay felt it appropriate to ignore my tangible concerns and steer the text conversation into complaining about her personal issues e.g. her wage. She threatened to report my family to the police for her incompetence in collecting our passports when we arrived (as all other hosts do). All in all, please stay away from this listing, it is neither worth the money nor the headache.
