Dreamy Alameda Apartment

Location was very good. Owner was very kind and helpfull,The apartment was clean and comfortable.There was no parking problem.

The flat is amazing. Everything is lovely! There are three bedrooms with double and singular beds. The biggest one has a bathroom inside as well. Everything was very clean. It's ubicated a bit far away from the town center (40'/45' on foot) but there are many bus stops around and the subway station is 5' away. We're very happy of staying there for 3 days and if we come back we would love to repeat!

Neighborhood looked very calm. If spite of that, there are no bars on the window so we couldn't leave the windows open because the flat we stayed was at the floor 0, so we were very close to street.

Very spacious apartment, very clean and modern. Well furnished. Host met us with keys to the apartment and showed us how to get in. Bathrooms were very clean and the towel heaters were a nice touch. Rooms were very large. Nice that the building has private parking. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, pots, pans, utensils. Apartment has a dishwasher and a washing machine. There is a very small patio looking into the courtyard. It was easy to get into the apartment (both code for the main door and key to the apartment).

The apartment has very poor soundproofing. None of us slept well between the noise from the road and the noise from people upstairs (who seemed to be moving furniture at 3a!). The apartment was also very hot and seemed to have a thermostat, but it didn't cool down the apartment when we set it to cool. We tried opening windows to let some air in the apartment, but it didn't really feel safe since the apartment is so close to ground level (especially one of the bedrooms) and there were a lot of people that seem to walk around the area where the apartment is located. We were also thrilled to have private parking and saw from the balcony a lot in the courtyard. Unfortunately, this unit has the single parking spot at the front entrance to the garage and the spot was really tight for our car. The garage also closes on it's own fairly quickly and we had to keep opening it to get our car to fit in the spot. Note - the apartment does not come with any kitchen or cleaning amenities (no coffee, filters, oil, salt, etc., no laundry detergent, no soap in the bathrooms, etc).
