Loft Ballarò

The room had everything we needed. It was a practical and clean apartment.

Even though the location was in the middle of the old city, the street of the apartment was dirty and didn’t feel that safe.

The apartment is great, very comfortable. We loved how clean everything was, it smelled lovely, the towels were super soft. The owner of the place and her son are very kind, responsive, we truly enjoyed staying there. They sent us a lot of recommendations that were very useful. The place is super central, you can literally walk everywhere. The little kitchen is perfect to cook. We cannot wait to come back to Palermo and stay in that same place. We will for sure recommend this to all of our friends and family.

The location and the atmosphere in the neighborhood!

The loft is really lovely, same as on the photos. It was super clean, the host was very helpful and nice, with really quick communication. I appreciate little snack and bottle of vine for us. It is in walkable distance to almost everywhere in the town you need.

The only thing we did not like was noise. I understand that we are staying in centre but this was really little too much. Steel doors and garage doors under the loft were banging to 1 a.m. and then again from around 4 a.m. You just hear everything there.

The room was clean and recently renovated. The host left for us a wine for our staying and we totally appreciate it. It was definitely worth the money. However, the location is not very safe and there was a lot of noise from neighbours during day and evening. Even though the room is just 5 minutes from the centre, you did not feel safe, especially during the time of return to the room.

The apartment was 2 minutes walking away from Via Maqueda and 5 minutes away from the incredible Mercato di Ballarò. As far as location goes, we were very happy with being close to everything in the centre, while also being able to retreat away from the late evening noises whenever we wanted to sleep. Provvidenza was a great host, allowing us to check in early and responding very quickly and with a lot of understanding to our questions and requests. She found solutions to everything, while making us feel very welcome in the loft.

The facilities were really nice. The bottle of wine was a pleasant surprise. We appreciated well equipped kitchen as well. Location is good - between the railway station and the city centre.

Neighbours were noisy even during the night. So bring earplugs if you have a light sleep.
