Scala Suites

Clean, amazing location and a really nice feel to the apartment. Beautiful bathroom and open living space.

They weren’t an issue for me but there are a lot of stairs to enter the apartment.

Scala Suites Split exceeded our expectations with its ideal location - you couldn't ask for a better spot to explore the city. The apartment was comfortable and well-appointed, though do note there are a few stairs to navigate if mobility is a concern. A special thank you to Marin, who went above and beyond by helping with my luggage on the last day. That kind of thoughtful, personal service really makes a difference and shows how much the team cares about their guests.

Das Apartement liegt in perfekter Lage für einen Stadt- und Strandurlaub. Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und wir konnten schon einbisschen früher ins Zimmer, als der eigentliche Check-in wäre. Am Anfang etwas schwer zu finden, aber wenn man einmal da war, ist es ganz einfach.

Our host was unable to meet us at check-in (we didn't mind- we pack very light). He sent detailed photos and video clips helping us navigate the way to our room. That was so helpful as we'd just landed from our overseas flight and were disoriented from our journey. The room, linens and bathroom were sparkling clean. The room was large and had a great use of the space with nice windows! I think a single traveler or couple could be quite comfortable here for a month long stay. The location was fantastic if you are wanting to stay within the Old Town as all the sites are just steps away. The host, Marin, was very hospitable and communicative, giving wonderfully detailed recommendations and was so much help upon checkout and getting to our next destination. Marin went above and beyond, warm thanks!!

The kitchen amenities felt a bit lacking. I didn't see any wine/cocktail glasses which would have been nice. For someone staying longer, they might find only half of the things they need in order to actually utilize the kitchenette space. Wasn't a problem for us though.

Centric location with everything is near by, within old historic building and surrounded by beautiful other buildings, I love the 3 windows and light. The interior is well designed spacious, everything is really new (August 2025), clean, AC, little kitchen, wifi, double glass windows to not hear the tourist on the streets in the bars. Overall it's even nicer than the pictures as it feels more homy. Highly recommend this place!

- We could not find the place, even with a video instructions from the owner. Note that taxi's cannot reach the apartment as it's in the historic center (no cars allowed), thus a 4 to 7 minute walk is required. The directions should be improved as google maps directions is not accurate in the area. I recommend sending guests 4 google pin locations: one on the boulevard, Caffe Romana, the corner the street you need to turn, then the corner restaurant Aquarelle Bistro, then walk to Leopolds Craft Beer Bar, and finally the entrance for Scala suites. Save them on google maps before you walk, as there is no phone reception in the old town due to the thousand + year old thick walls blocking the signal. - A wash machine would improve the apartment from 9.9 to 10.

Marin & his brother are super hosts. They made us extremely comfortable & personally visited and got us checked in. It was nice to put up a face with whom we were communicating. They recommended a lot of restaurants. Very humble & kind hosts. Place was more beautiful than pictures. In the heart of the old town, close to the promenade but super quiet. Thank you Scala Suites for an amazing relaxed stay. We loved our time in Split❤️

We had a wonderful stay at Scala Suites! The apartment was spotlessly clean, modern, large comfortable bed. It had everything we needed, including a fully equipped modern kitchen with a coffee machine and cartridges provided. The host Marin was extremely friendly and always ready to help or offer advice whenever we had questions. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the old town, just a short walk from all the main attractions. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!
