Little noise from the main road but not a problem
GBStylish but unpretentious. Really good space, lovely four poster bed. Basic kitchen amenities but all the essentials ( fridge, kettle, mugs, glasses and so on). Wonderful balcony view of palm trees and the sea immediately to the front. The Reggae bar next door is a small but lively little venue with excellent food (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and lovely staff.
It would be nice to have more upright (but still comfortable!) chairs on the balcony.
AUAmazing. The attention to detail in the design was impeccable. Understated elegance. Excellent value for money. Couple of cool little beach bars and restaurants around but nothing too hectic. Great place to wind down. You won’t be disappointed.

at night you wouldn't need more than a fan, but in the day if you decide to stay at the location, it's very hot
GBLoved everything about my stay. Super friendly welcome and amazing room with everything you need. Perfect location super quiet with a few amazing restaurants and bars close by. I didn’t want my stay to end.
Only thing which is out of the control of the property is the loud traffic from the road. Maybe if the bathroom was enclosed a little this would prevent some noise? And wi Fi also didn’t work during my stay.

I didn't like the security guardold person; he does not respect Sri Lankans. It's not good for the business.
AUTotally stunning architecture. Absolutely lovely! Good attention to detail, nice sheets, towels etc. A great place to relax and watch the beach.
It would be good if the stairs to the balcony had a gate that locked so I would be able to leave the doors to the balcony open at night. There is some traffic noise.
ITMalilo house could be out of an interior design magazine. It s one of the 3 best places I have seen in more than 20 years of travelling the world. The pictures are true to what you find, if not showing all the beauty of decorations, little touches, natural materials. I LOVED IT. Just to set expectations: if you stay upstairs you ll have an amazing balcony but also an open bathroom, which means noise from the street. They are working on fixing this already!
