VILLA KUXTAL

We loved this villa on the beach, it was even better than the photos. It was very spacious, comfortable and exceptionally clean with a well equipped kitchen and all the necessary toiletries provided in the bathrooms. The towels, bed linen, beds etc all seemed to be new and of a high quality. The remote location was perfect for the first leg of our tour of the Yucatan as we wanted a week of quiet relaxation away from areas with hotel complexes - being June, we practically had the beach to ourselves and there was no sargassum seaweed (unlike the Quintana Roo east coast). There are some good local restaurants in the town but it's about a 30 min drive to Telchac to find a decent supermarket. There is an amazing beach restaurant 5 mins walk eastwards (turn right) down the beach, called Bella Mar. The owners were closed but opened up especially for us and cooked some excellent fish washed down with the best Margeritas in Mexico.

Not a massive problem but there was no house manual eg explaining the water pump - we had no water for a few hours but the host sent someone round very quickly to fix it. Also a few local recommendations eg the best restaurants in the town and the nearest supermarket etc would be useful (but not essential as the Wi-Fi is good so we found everything that we needed online).

The location was a little paradise, the view was amazing. The pool was also perfect and we love the little patio. The place was very calm and peaceful. The place was super clean and communication with the host was easy.

What could be better were the comfort of the beds and also the water container that was not easy to use. Also it could be great to make sure that the Electric generator works as apparently power outage are pretty frequent.

Very nice villa with spacy 3 ensuite bedrooms. Super nice terrace with a good small pool and directly on the beach. You will definitely need a car to move to different locations but that is always necessary in mexico.
