Loved staying here. Leina is a beautiful host and Asako is a wonderful bartender. They just made me feel so welcome and I was genuinely sad to leave

We enjoyed the Japanese style of the house, its architecture, design and comfort, and we slept well there.

As the place calls itself bar and guesthouse, it was a bit of a disappointment for us that the bar was not open.

One of our best stays in Japan. We regretted not checking in earlier and staying longer. The house is incredible. It is so moody, quaint, and amazing decorated. Really spacious and plenty of ammenties. It is even bigger than we anticipated. We loved the smaller cosy rooms to the side. Especially the room with the record player. The location is the cherry on the cake as it is so tranquil The owner of the places is incredibly kind and recommened us to a restaurant in town. She even called a taxi for us. She also speaks really good English. One day, we'll be back and hoping to stay longer. It is a perfect place to relax off the beaten path in a typical non touristy village.

A beautifully kept Ryokan with the charme of tradition and the comfort of a modern guest house. We enjoyed every minute, and our host was very helpful and lovely! A great region to explore, especially Yusuhara with Kengo Kuma Architecture and a beautiful setting in mountainous landscape.

Lovely rural location is easily accessed from Unomachi by several buses in the morning and afternoon. It a very clean and comfortable property with friendly and hospitable staff. Leina is warm and welcoming, happy to provide suggestions in the area, and perfectly bilingual (Japanese and English). The bar was open and offered a casual way to enjoy the evening with a drink and several easy and tasty food options.

Super friendly staff, guests and people coming to the bar below. And although it's a simple place the beds were very comfortable and I slept like a log 😁
