Simple Homestay Balangan

I like that they have hot showers and clean towels.

The mattress has a yellow stain that appears to be set in. Additionally, the road leading to the homestay is very bumpy and rocky. It would be helpful if they could pave it or at least remove the rocks to make it easier for bikes to navigate.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was ready and very clean before check-in. Nice looking and had a good shower aswell. I would stay again

Very far out from Uluwatu town. Only an issue if you’re trying to get Grab, takes a while. The pool wasn’t overly clean but I was in it late evening so maybe it’s not always too bad. You need to keep the curtains closed most the time depending on which room your in as they look straight out onto the kitchen area

Super chill vibe, the owner is really nice and helpful, it’s quiet, rooms are spacious and comfortable and it’s super clean!

The road to get there is horrible but that doesn’t have anything to do with the place :)

Lovely sized room with big bathroom, comfy bed and had Netflix on the tv. The swimming pool was lovely also. Staff were friendly and had scooter you can rent.

Not a negative as we knew before we came just a steep bumpy “ road” down to the homestay

It's close to the ocean. The staff guy was a true G and super helpful and nice.

It would ve been ok but the mattress was sooo bad. You ll kind of be sleeping on bits of wire. And plastic sheets. Could ve let the TV be and just invested that into a better mattress/sheets. Construction/ building noise is all around.

Overall is an acceptable place. I think the best thing about this place is the fact that it stays in a quiet area, has a pool and some utensils for cooking. They also have bikes to rent. Other than that I don’t recommend this place, it stays far away from everything and you can’t reach out without a bike or grab.

The bedroom was in a very bad shape, the walls need painting because they are all covered in flaws and in grey and white color. The bathroom has cables passing in the celling from the outside and that allows mosquitos to come to bedroom. The mattress was horrible, so so so flat and unstable. The staff was ok, he didn’t spoke a lot of English which made the communication a bit difficult. We talked with the staff to rent a bike for 2 days and the next day our bike was giving to someone else. On the 2nd day we went to the bedroom for shower and we wanted to leave after dinner for a short stroll and the staff asked us for how many days we had rented the bike and that we needed to return the key (EVEN THO WE PAID FOR TWO FULL DAYS). On the morning of the check out we were having breakfast AT 9AM and the staff came to us and said that we needed to leave soon because he needed to clean the room. These attitudes were absolutely ridiculous. The people who were staying at this place were not so friendly, kept making noise at 3am bothering some guests and the staff did nothing about it.
