The staff were very nice and the rest of it was appalling.

The photos on booking.com are years old and nothing like what you get. Room was very old. No kettle, no complimentary water, no tea or coffee, no fridge, no batteriesin TV remote. The breakfast was absolutely disgusting and would not feed it to a dog ( see photos) Only one cheap toilet roll. No TV unless you have a Netflix account. Incesent dogs yapping and barking all day and night.

Not right in the centre, but not too far out of town, and it's easy to drive to and park at, so logistically convenient. The rooms were moderately sized, and generally it wasn't a huge place so was peaceful and pleasant. Additionally the lady who helped us at reception helped us with our enquiry on getting some washing done. It wasn't easy as we arrived in the evening and left the next morning. She put a lot of effort into finding a solution, but I noted that although a solution was found she still persisted to phone more places as she was adamant to get us the best service not only from within the hotel, but also from outside for other services. And in the end the service that she was able to arrange was amazing, punctual and rapid, and well priced. There is a lift also, which doesn't sound that exciting, but there are many buildings of this height that only have stairs, so it is nice to have a modestly sized hotel have easy access. Additionally just everyone was very helpful moving luggage and babies around for us, even the security pitching in!

The breakfast, that was included, was extremely modest, I think just consisting of a sandwich if I recall correctly. Additionally there was some miscalculation in the payment, so we were asked for an additional payment at the end, which was so tiny (less than a dollar I think) that it seemed a little pedantic, and while carrying kids riding high on a good nights sleep and doing anything but cooperating, this was a small thing that could have been avoided.
