It was great right from the start. Booked this accommodation last minute, on the night before our stay. Next morning, Host Mr Johann took effort to contact me via both booking message & whatsapp since I took awhile to respond. Check-in done by Ms Lettie was easy and fuss-free (she remained contactable throughout the whole stay till our check out day). It felt homely the minute we walked in. The house looks exactly as advertised – beautifully spacious, clean and well equipped. After so many days of travelling around the western cape, we were so appreciative of the super powerful yet clean & constant hot water for shower/bath, non-disruptive electricity, wifi & good signal (not affected by the load shedding). Location is situated on the quieter side of Hermanus, for those who prefers a little privacy and some quiet days. We enjoyed our Braai session plus sitting around the Boma-fire in the evening & our morning walk to the beach (close proximity). We will definitely stay again! Nothing negative 😊 Just a note for future travellers; we drove Hyundai Staria for this trip. Apparently, the car size is too big to fit into the garage provided. Thus, we parked our car just outside on the lawn area throughout our stay, but believe the area was safe enough as we did not encounter any break-ins.
