Property needs upgrading

The location is amazing...right on the beach with spectacular views of the ocean from our room. The Malvani food served during our stay was also delicious. The room was clean and had most of the facilities. The manager and family were extremely nice and helpful throughout the stay. He gave his car to us for us to be able to explore the region (for a charge). They were willing to offer us food and tea any time of the day. The homestay also has some games to play and good parking facilities. I think it's the remoteness of this homestay that makes it charming, even during the monsoon. With a vehicle, you can reach most of the beaches in the Malvan region and even Ghats (like Amboli Ghat) easily.

Connectivity is poor. Wifi is not available in the rooms (upstairs). Even in the common place (sea-facing balcony), wifi is not strong. So don't go here if you wish to do remote work. This is a place to chill and remain aloof from these distractions. Only Jio (and probably BSNL) works here...so if you have any other network providers, you will be completely cut off not just in this homestay but most of the region (except in the main towns). The other issue is that you should come here only with your own vehicle. You cannot do anything without it. Staying here during the monsoon may not be ideal as TV cable network (Tata Sky) did not work - signal is a major problem. Also, all the sea-facing rooms have the problem of rainwater entering the rooms even with the doors closed. One has to put some cloth at the bottom of the doors, which is provided by the manager.
