Kilpipe Snug

Gastheer Derry is uiterst vriendelijk, behulpzaam en gastvrij. De leefruimte is comfortabel en kwalitatief van een hoog niveau. Sanitair zeer netjes, modern en vooral de douche was super.

Lovely, clean accommodation in a very peaceful and quiet location. Directions were excellent and we were warmly welcomed.

Missing a microwave, decent sized TV and a comfy sofa and bed. It’s semi detached so can be noisy.

The location was fantastic with great mountain views. I loved the fact that it was tucked away from the main road but still easy to find and good parking. Host (Derry) was very helpful. I will definitely come again and would recommend it to couples or lone travellers.

I really cannot find any fault with the property. It was toasty warm, the shower was perfect, for once there were loads of mirrors, good lighting and plenty of electric sockets.

We had a brilliant stay at The Kilpipe Snug whilst we attended a wedding at the Ballybeg venue which was near by. Our hosts Derry and Marie were very accommodating and even gave us a lift to the venue on the wedding day which was very kind. The Snug itself is very well equipped, clean and cosy located conveniently between two small villages Tinahely and Aughrim with amazing views of the hillside. I would definitely recommend a stay the The Snug if you are thinking of adventuring out of the Dublin area and visiting the Wicklow Mountains and surrounding areas, we would definitely stay here again given the opportunity.
