Seabay Bliss

We stayed at the hotel for two days, and the stay was fantastic. All the facilities were up to the mark. I would especially mention the staff, Vishnu, who helped us in everything from booking vehicles to showing the area. He is such a great person. I would highly recommend people stay there!

I liked everything

Pros: Budget friendly accommodation Location too close to Varkala cliff market and beach Near to all the amenities We had charged Rs.600 more to switch to upgrade room with balcony. Which is fair

Cons: They don't not provide any amenities like brush, shampoo etc. you will only get towel and body soap. Curtains were transparent, no bathroom Matt was provided. No parking for 4 wheelers. You hardly can park 2 wheelers. They banged the door at 10:30 in the morning to check out at 11. When we said it's mentioned as 11:30 check out in booking.com. They said it's an old timings, now it's 11.

Very modern property - clean, spacious rooms. Very comfortable bed. The AC works great. Location is very convenient - a 5 minute walk to the cliff. But the property is down a quiet street. Definitely a comfortable place to stay!

I thought the customer service was relatively poor. Firstly, I had messages asking for my check in time - it felt like it was quite strict. I communicated clearly when I would arrive, yet there was no one at the property and I had to wait. In fact there is almost never someone in the reception - it would be better if there was, because if you need something like toilet paper or the wifi code, the only option is to call the owner - who didn’t answer my call or reply to my message about wifi until I called him later that day a second time. Finally, check out time is 11:00, and at 10:51 the owner called me twice. I messaged to ask if he called, and he said “Yes pls vacate the room I have another guest on the way”. Seems very pushy to be ringing me to ask me to leave before check out time has even passed. Apart from that, it’s a great place to stay
