La habitación no tenía ni un ventilador. El desayuno era muyyy muy simple.

Aún estando cerrada la ventana se escuchaba mucho ruido fuera y era difícil dormir. Por lo demás, todo bien.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We arrived in the middle of the night, and the night receptionist was waiting for us. The daytime staff and breakfast staff were also very kind throughout our stay. We especially appreciated that the hotel provided a corkscrew when we asked for one and prepared takeaway breakfast bags with water and snacks for our early departures. On one occasion we forgot to request this in advance, yet the receptionist still managed to arrange water, yogurt and cakes for us, which was greatly appreciated. The location is perfect - right in the city center and exactly where we wanted to stay. The rooftop terrace is wonderful, with beautiful views over Marrakech and the Koutoubia Mosque. Surprisingly, despite the hotel being fully booked, the terrace was usually quiet, allowing us to enjoy peaceful evenings there.

The breakfast was acceptable, although not outstanding. The pancakes were a little rubbery, while the freshly squeezed orange juice was excellent. The room lacked sufficient surfaces and storage space for personal belongings. The bathroom fixtures and shower are quite old, and the overall cleanliness could be improved. That said, the receptionist informed us that housekeeping was available upon request. One roll of toilet paper for the stay was not sufficient and had to be replaced. The airport transfer was the biggest disappointment. Before arrival, I informed the hotel that we might not have mobile internet at the airport and was assured that a driver would be waiting for us with a hotel sign. Unfortunately, nobody was there. After managing to connect to airport Wi-Fi, we had to wait almost an hour. The driver repeatedly sent standard messages about traffic, although it was the middle of the night and the city was virtually empty. Since the airport is only a short drive from the city center, it seemed likely that he had simply left late. Upon arrival, he also tried to charge €20 instead of the previously agreed €15. As the transfer was arranged through the hotel, this negatively affected our first impression.
