調理器具はある程度揃っているが 一部不足もあるため、基本は自信で準備するのが良い

Woody Island is s grand house - ski chalet. It is very roomy with plenty of space for several families with three bedrooms on the main floor and bunk rooms on the upper floor. The house was built in timber frame style with large majestic beams in the great room. It is well appointed with everything you could need. The hosts are wonderful and friendly.

The place was beautiful and spacious, perfect for a small group of families. Everything was absolutely wonderful! Our hosts, Mickey and his wife, were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. They even came to our aid when we had trouble with a car tire stuck in heavy snow.

There are stairs to climb in order to enter the house, which can be a bit troublesome if you have heavy luggage. However, aside from that, everything was perfect!

The staff went above and beyond in every facet of our day. They were absolutely brilliant and couldn’t have helped us more even when one of our party broke their leg on the ski field. Nothing was too much trouble.

It’s a long way out of town so it would be preferable to have a vehicle that you can use to get around

Words can't begin to explain how amazing our experience in Woody Island was, and it was mainly because of Mary and Mickey who took care of us. They went so far above and beyond anything we would have expected (our van didn't have chains, and it was sold out in Hakuba, and they still went out to find a solution for us. Our van got stuck in the snow so they got their van and pulled the car out and then proceeded to let us use their 4wd van for the evening). They are so warm and welcoming and such amazing hosts. They really made our gloomy day brighter, and they even got my daughter a present for her birthday. I don't know what we did to deserve such good people. Thank you so very much
