20 personer i et stort rom, som deler to toaletter og én fungerende dusj. Saltvann i dusjen. Skittent bad. Grums fra taket som faller på sengene. Mistanke om bed bugs, da vi fikk noen bitt gjennom natten, og roomie fortalte oss at tidligere gjest som sov i samme seng som oss, også ble bitt. Sengene våre var ikke klare da vi sjekket inn, og innsjekkingen tok minst 1 time. Det ble rotete siden hostellansvarlig ønsket at vi avbestilte bookingen via Booking.

DEBest location for surfing the Popoyo main break. Restaurant/bar/hangout area has a view of the wave and the amazing sunsets.
Restaurant closes at 6pm, if you surf at sunset you may need to order takeout
GBDEThe dorm is huge and very airy, double beds, even when there’s no electricity you get the wind, location right at the surf spot (roll out of bed and surf basically), it’s a pretty place. During the day all the surfers come and hang out.
After 6 the restaurant closes (unless it’s pizza night) and everybody leaves. You have to cross the river to the other restaurants (no problem at low tide, at high tide in the dark by yourself especially when it has rained, not advisable) or take a huge detour by car/ moto to get there. If you’re solo it can be VERY calm in the evening bf a … if that’s what you want, great :) The board rentals aren’t great…
AUThe location for a surfer is perfect, probably the best surf break in popoyo area and that is vast. The staff are great. My running shoes and crocs where stolen outside my room and the manager reviews the entire video to determine the thiefs.
Its rough, so the dorm there is no aircon, and from may it gets hot. the private rooms have aircon, but are very basic. i was a sole traveler so was fine, but if you like a spotless clean room this may not be dor you. You also need transport , i suggest a motor biker
