It was very secure. Hosts were attentive and quickly communicated/remedied with issues that arose. Had some nice kitchen equipment. Water jug. Secure parking (even though we had no car). Master bedroom had comfortable pillows. Some very much needed, vibrant art on the walls.

It was dark. No windows in bedrooms. No natural light. No cross breeze. Like a cold, dark cell. One of those places where you wake up and you don't know if it is night or day. The entire complex was really poorly built. If I sneezed the walls would collapse. Stay upstairs or you will hear every footstep and small noise the neighbors above make. Not because they were loud, but because the entire building is made with toothpicks. Do NOT stay in apartment number 5. The apartments on the second floor must be a bit more "open" with more natural light. There was also water damage in the common bathroom on the ceiling (mold, probably) that was painted over. The breaker went out two times when I was trying to heat up water in the electric kettle and use the toaster oven and the same time. Poor ventilation (there was AC, but it was already so cold in the apartment) due to hardly and windows. If you like fresh air, this is a nightmare.

The decor was fun. The layout was good. It was clean.

The cleaning agent had a harsh chemical smell that remained strong for the entire two night stay and was quite unpleasant. The biggest problem is that the directions had the WRONG ADDRESS number. Wandering around at 10pm trying to find the building was not fun.

Property was very good, host went out of her way to accommodate me for additional days, with no hassle. I would recommend this for individuals or a family.

Comfortable apartment in convenient location with kitchenette and nice amenities. Close to the Malecon and to many excellent food options and restaurants. Loved the quirky decor.

Google maps places the address on the wrong block, so be careful when ordering taxis or Uber.

Good location, spacious room.

Unfriendly communication from the owner/administrator (1. sent us the access details for the wrong apartment, another person showed up, and when they called her to clarify she blamed us for misunderstanding although she sent the exact same instructions to us and the other person, 2. in our last night asked us to park our car outside because „new people with a long booking have arrived and need the space“, 3. communicated only in Spanish although I kept replying in English - it‘s no problem for me to use google translate but that doesn’t make me feel valued as a guest. I would expect it to be the other way around)
