Pondok Aruna

I stayed at Pondok Aruna over Christmas, and it was a really lovely experience. The place is beautifully designed, with a spacious room, a big bathroom, and plenty of storage for my things. It felt very comfortable, the air conditioning worked great, and everything was nicely maintained. It’s close to many cafés, including some really nice ones, and also very close to the Outpost coworking space / Alchemy café , which was important for me. You can easily walk between Outpost and the house. One of the highlights for me was the kitchen—it's outside, which almost makes the balcony feel like an extra room. I really enjoyed that! Plus, this is the only room they are renting, so it felt very private and peaceful. There was no drinking water provided at first, but when I asked, they helped me get a big gallon, which I really appreciated. Overall, I had a great stay and would happily come back!

The only issue I had was with accessing the place. Since it was rainy season, getting there was a bit tricky. There’s only bike access, and even though they mentioned that, I didn’t quite realize how difficult it would be to walk there in the rain/night . However, I think in dry season this wouldn’t be a problem at all.

Being far from traffic, the silence is omnipresent. Large space, completely functional. A very good quality-price ratio.

A propriedade é exatamente como nas fotos, muito nova e limpa! Fica localizada a apenas 5 minutos de scooter do centro de Ubud, muito pratico, apesar do acesso não ser o mais simples de se achar sozinho, o dono nos buscou na rua principal e ajudou com as malas, mesmo tendo chegado quase 1AM. Por outro lado, essa distancia da rua principal traz um silencio e tranquilidade para hospedagem. Outro Ponto forte é que o cunhado do dono é motorista particular, muito prestativo, fizemos dois passeios longos com ele, recomendo muito!

Very big comfortable bed. Great shower - plenty of hot water and good pressure. Clean and bright room with lots of storage. Very responsive and helpful hosts - arranged for a water gallon immediately. Answered all my questions and tried to help with anything I needed even lent me a little lamp for reading in bed. Large kitchen area - needs a few more items added but hosts are working on it slowly as place is still very new. Highly recommend and I'll definitely be back here when I come to Ubud again.

Can only access the property by motorbike, which is fine for me as I drive myself to the property but for others they may not realise that the property is on a small street that only motorbikes can enter. Host will happily arrange to meet and pick you/luggage up from main road, and it's a very safe and easy area to walk around and access restaurants etc but important to know when planning your stay.

Very clean, quiet and spacious accomodation. Bright and spacious room. Big, comfortable bed. Great shower pressure and hot water. Good WiFi, small kitchen. Hosts very helpful and tried to fulfil all small requests I had. I will definitely be back, great value for money.

Can only be accessed by motorbike, or walking. But host will happily pick you up on main Street with a motorbike to the accomodation. No problem if you're driving yourself, or happy to walk a little way - very safe and well lit area. Easy to access restaurants etc. Better to know in advance so you aren't suprised.

Sehr zuvorkommende und freundliche Familie. Perfekte ruhige Lage. Geräumiges, helles, gut ausgestattetes Zimmer. Guter Wasserdruck, bequemes Bett. Ich habe mich dort extrem wohl gefühlt und sehr gut schlafen können.
