On the positive side, the room was spacious and clean, and the location is in a pleasant, quiet area of Tawau

Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing due to several issues that didn’t match what was advertised. First, we had specifically booked a room with a kitchen, but upon arrival, we were given a different room without one. When we brought this up with the host, he said the kitchen room had already been given to someone else — and instead of helping us, he told us to go ask the other guest ourselves to switch rooms. This was very unprofessional and made us feel uncomfortable. We ended up spending several days there without access to a kitchen, which had been important for us, especially to prepare our own breakfast. Second, the bed was very uncomfortable, completely sagging on both sides. Lastly, the listing also mentioned that there was a gym, but there was no gym available at all — another misleading detail. Overall, we felt the listing was not accurate, and the way the situation was handled left a lot to be desired.

Location is close to where I need to go, so it was ok for me. The place was clean. The host provided clear instructions for my self check-in.

The room was warm during the day due to the sun even with the air-cond at coldest setting and with all curtains closed. WiFi speed was less than 200kbps, host said it was due to the ISP though.

Huge bedroom and great facilities. Everything is new and extremely clean. We loved it!!! Many restaurants around. Quiet...
