I had a fantastic stay at this place! The living area, kitchen, and bedroom are all spacious and incredibly comfortable, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. It felt like a home away from home.

The place is large and very clean. It as everything that one needs. The hosts are helpful.

The reason I have not given a 10 is there were two things that we didn't like. We thought that we were renting an entire separate apartment. However, it is a self contained section of the house, and there is a joint entrance and we had the feeling we were being observed everytime we entered or left, as the hosts sit in their living room and look out into the hall. This was underscored by the host hurrying in to inspect the place as we were leaving. This has never happened to us before in over 100 units we have rented through booking.com. In fact the majority of hosts we never see, as the key is left in a lockbox. Trust is an important factor in our lives, in fact even though we were leaving just after 6am, we vacuumed the areas we had used. Very important for us is a dishwasher, and the one here was not working, in fact it looked like it hadn't worked for some time, and was all taped up, with out of order signs on it. Without a dishwasher one can never be certain that the previous renter cleaned the dishes properly, so we end up washing the dishes before and after use.

No breakfast included. Was a little isolaTed but not a problem if you have a car

Host very flexible as arrived later then expected and they adjusted accordingly. Felt very safe being a lone female, residential gated area with outside eating & sunbathing terrace that is not overlooked. Hosts respected my privacy yet on hand when ever I needed them. Good location between lake Orta & Maggiore, choice of supermarkets within 10 min drive - do need either a car or if your very into cycling then doable. Large rooms, good amenities very good wifi, comfortable bed, huge HDMI TV and great water pressure in shower.

No fans available but decent roller shutters to keep rooms cool during the day. No public transport links, not really walkable have to have a car.

The owners were very friendly. The apartment was spacy, nicely decorated and clean.

I’m young and black and I could see the owners did not trust us and they reminded us few times not to party in the house. We were in the area for work and we have no intention to club as we were sleep deprived. Two of our co workers came to the house and and they stayed overnight and when the owner saw them in the house he was angry and making us feel uncomfortable and he said we had to pay 60 euro because our co workers stayed overnight. Which I said OK because it’s not a problem. I Just don’t like dealing with people that lose their temper especially if you are hosting someone. There’s no need. Anyways Italy is a racist country so it’s normal. I’m sure he wouldn’t have reacted like that with some white people.
