Best place for Kings Canyon & Sequoia National Park tour

Great location near the entrance to Kings National Park. Very kind and friendly hosts who made us breakfast in the morning. Standalone cottage with living area, bedroom, and large bathroom (total space was larger than we expected). The Trader Joe frozen meals and ice cream in the freezer (for reasonable prices) were a pleasant surprise.

The most amazing hosts! We regretted only staying one night and would definitely come back!

We got to John and Tracii’s Cozy Cottage after a 3 hour drive from the coast. He was so very warm and welcoming it felt as if you were visiting family! He had a welcome sign on the gatepost with our names - such a lovely touch. The cottage was very thoughtfully equipped and I was able to use the sit - in shower even with bad knees. The bath is large and inviting and you can play music via Bluetooth through the bathroom light/ speaker!! It was so wonderful to sit outside in the evening. The location was very close to Sequoia and we even managed an evening visit the day we arrived. Altogether it was a most enjoyable stay and I highly recommend. Thank you so much John and Tracii.

Wonderfully quiet and cozy with exceptional hosts and great breakfast.

John and Tracy could not have been more welcoming, friendly or accommodating. They truly made you feel like a family member visiting, to the point where my partner somewhat in jest joked “bye mum and dad” as we left. The place is clean, comfortable and it truly feels like they have thought of everything might need (for example they even have some meals in the freezer available to save you having to drive on the long roads again). The bed is incredibly comfortable, the shower a luxury and the bedroom actually remains dark through the morning so you are not woken up by sunrise. Hopefully you can see we can’t give enough compliments and we regret not arriving earlier in the day to really enjoy the place.

We really liked the Guest World Map, all the decor and breakfast! The owners and their son were so welcoming. Jack even took our bags to the door for us. They are great people and we are so glad we got to meet them. John was also a great help with directions and even text us maps!

My husband didn't like the shower wand but I LOVED the tub.

Spoke a lot with John, he was very nice and informative. The cottage was very clean and large. It was decorated very nice with a lot of unique artwork.

It was odd tub shower combo. Not what I am use to.
