Catania Center Apartment

Nicely refurbished modern design and comfortable apartment in an old building, well situated in the wider center of Catania, near the fish market. Great host. Espresso machine with capsules. The apartment is located on 2nd floor (with no elevator) in an old building, with narrow and poorly maintained corridors, in a way it is exciting and interesting building interior, but it is not for those who are not in physical condition to carry the suitcase to 2nd floor.

There should be a toilet paper in the restroom.

Firstly, the owner was very welcoming and friendly. Secondly, the place was very clean when we arrived, with the bed sheets and towels fresh and clean, brought directly from the laundry. The bed was so comfortable (never had one like that before) and there was complete silence during the night, so we were able to have a deep sleep, without any disturbances. Thirdly, the apartment had all the necessary facilities, so if you want to prepare a quick dinner, you can do that, without a problem. We were even able to iron some clothes for a night out, as we had an ironing board and an iron in the house. Overall, the flat is great with nice finishes, plus the wooden floor has a nice feeling as well, and the wardrobe has plenty of space.

a bit remote from city center but not that much and some nice streets in the surroundings the corridor from the street gate up to the flat is not very attractive, but tha was fine with us

loved the interior, location, the host is amazing. the apartment is close to centre. we would return.

The place is at good location near Ursini castle, there is a store and bakery right in front of the building. Our host was very nice and helpful, he tell us some good places to eat and help us plan some sightseeing. The place is not luxurious but have everything that you need for 3 people

There was some minor issues with some appliances

The apartment is centralny located, within walking distance to every important point of interest. There are some little cafes nearby where you can get some products for breakfast. It looks exactly like in the photos - contemporary design, nicely lit, all kitchen equipment at your disposal. The bed is extremely comfortable, with a choice of pillows and high quality bed linen. There is Netflix available also :)

The staircase is quite spooky when it’s dark (my daughter said it had a fantastic vibe like from the movies ;) ) - but don’t be discouraged - the interior of the apartment is really rewarding!!!

Quite spacious apartment for the price with good interior design.

There is only one source of heating, in bedroom, which is clearly not enough due to very high humidity and low temperature inside(14-16degrees).

Very tastefully decorated luxury apartment. Very near to the city center

No elevator, you have to take 3 flights of stairs. Not ideal for people with mobility issues.
