Adorable coastal retreat

Main Road is very noisy.

Modern, clean and well located apartment on main road in Sea Point with good facilities and equipment, including washing machine, tumble dryer and air conditioning (in lounge only, but does cool the whole apartment if bedroom doors are left open). Felt very secure, with friendly and helpful concierge. Supermarket right next door and lots of restaurants within a 5-10 minute walk. Soyisele was a responsive host.

The great, central location inevitably means there is quite a lot of noise from the main road and petrol station/garage opposite: whilst we were prepared for this - other reviews mention it as well - we weren’t quite prepared for the noise from the building site opposite, where a new hotel was being built. There was constant drilling and hammering during day-time working hours, which may not be a problem if you are out during the day but wasn’t ideal for working remotely, as I was. Closing the doors blocked some but not all of the noise. You might want to check the status of the construction before booking. We also had power cuts in the apartment 4 times - this was not load shedding as was our apartment only, and was quickly rectified each time by our host, but was a little inconvenient. Apartment might be a little ‘cozy’ for 4 adults for long stays.

Very comfortable accommodation. Excellent amenities. Clean, modern and comfortable.

The property overlooks Main Road Seapoint, so very noisy when the balcony doors are open. No Aircon in bedrooms.
