Frukosten hade mer att önska. Knäckebröd och halvfryset rostbröd

Facilities - very clean, very comfortable. Bedroom was small but shared bathrooms and kitchen were more than big enough and very well equipped. Huge breakfast and dining area in a beautiful barn. There is a stunning outdoor area with pizza oven, bbq, firepit, hot tub, outdoor shower and sauna. They also had electric charging facilities for cars. Staff - we cannot say enough good things about the staff. Every interaction we had with them was warm, friendly, relaxed, and informative. They were happy to chat for as long as needed, and were able to provide tonnes of information about different hiking/swimming/boating/sightseeing activities. There were always staff around and they were always very happy to answer any and all of our questions. Extras - they offer guided tours both on foot and by kayak throughout the week. You can also hire the kayaks from the Lodge. They go above and beyond to look after their guests, and made us feel like family.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind. The lodge is decorated with interesting antique furniture and knick-knacks. Nice garden and bar area, although we didn't use the area it seemed lovely and had a great vibe. Bathrooms and showers were modern and clean. The beds were very comfortable.

It would be useful to have somewhere to hang used towels in the bedroom. The showers could do with some ventilation as well.
