Sobasee Holiday Bungalow

Great apartment in Kandy away from the crowds and hustle of the city, yet still close to most points of interest. The hosts were very kind and helpful, they arranged for us to go to a local dance show which was great. The view from the balcony is stunning.

The apartment is sparsely decorated so it didn’t feel as cozy or homey. Adding something on the walls and removing the plastic off the chairs would help a lot.

Spacious apartment on two floors. Bedrooms are adjacent to the bathroom.

Kitchen was poorly equipped equipped. Frosted glass windows so that we could not see through them.

The location was great and we had plenty of space. The air con was great. You are 15 walk mins from centre but it does feel more residential and quiet. There were two shower rooms which were very clean. The hosts were really attentive and recommended a couple of good places to go.

Kitchen equipment was pretty basic but we ate out so it was not a problem.

Worth for your money

It is actually a nice apartment on 2 floors ! We did like the overview on the "hillish" location....and it is quite calm. The owners are surely friendly people. And mostly it was very clean

And mostly clean....bathroom a small "-" but for sure the kitchen lacks some "stuff".....we were 3,....fork, knife, each 3 ! Kitchen needs a small facelift and a second hotplate as it isn't a hotel/hostel....YOu would be in trouble in case you want or need to cook on your own. Sure most, as we, enjoy the local food out there but still......must have for renting out an apartment
