Lantern Stay

Freundliches Personal, ein echter Familienbetrieb im positiven Sinne. Gute Lage zum Strand beziehungsweise Uferpromenade. Schöne heiße Dusche mit kräftigem Wasserstrahl, was man auf Gozo nicht überall antrifft. Gutes Frühstück. Man kann auch einen Espresso haben, wobei Espresso Macchiato leider nicht möglich ist, aber es gibt separat Milch dazu. Der Filter Kaffee war mir zu dünn.

Wir hatten zwei Zimmer. Eines lag direkt zur Straße raus: ich hätte wahrscheinlich ohne Ohrstöpsel nicht schlafen können. Mit Ohrstöpsel habe ich gut geschlafen. Mein Sohn hat auch ohne Ohrstöpsel gut geschlafen. Das andere Zimmer gegen nach hinten raus, aber trotzdem hat man auch den Straßenlärm gehört aber auch hier gilt, dass man mit Ohrstöpsel sehr gut schlafen kann.

The staff is great, the location is great, the room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was excellent.

The only thing is that the door is not noise proof so when people arrive late in the evening we can hear all the noise and they can be very loud and not respectful with the others.

Great location, very attentive and welcoming staff. I also liked the interiors, it feels like you are staying at someone's home not a guesthouse. Good breakfast.

Check-out is time very early, already 10:30, which for me as someone who likes to sleep longer in the morning is a bit of a stress.
