Ameya Kerala is a true hidden gem. The location is breathtaking, offering an unobstructed 180-degree view of the lake that is simply magical. It was the perfect place to unwind at the end of our holidays. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool, which offers a great spot to relax while taking in the scenery. Because the resort is small and exclusive, the atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and private. The traditional Kerala architecture is stunning, and the rooms are very comfortable. What truly stands out, however, is the staff—they are attentive, kind, and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. It is the ideal spot for anyone seeking tranquility, luxury, and the natural beauty of the backwaters. Highly recommended

A few things to keep in mind: there is a Hindu temple nearby with prayers and chanting that can start early and last throughout the day. While it’s part of the local culture, it can be a bit distracting if you are looking for absolute silence over several days. Also, the resort is somewhat isolated from shops and commercial activities, but this is easily managed as Uber is very reliable and accessible in the area if you don't have your own transport.

Ameya kerala est un établissement magnifique, seulement 3 pavillons autour d’une maison historique au bord du lac qui donnent le sentiment d’être privilégié. Le service y est irréprochable, le personnel est aux petits soins. L’établissement propose des soins ayurvediques sur place. Je recommande absolument la ballade en bateau dans le parc d’oiseau proche, que la maison peut organiser pour vous, expérience unique et bien moins fréquentée que dans la ville spot backwaters de Allepey.

Rien, biensur les sévices de ce type d’établissement sont un peu plus onéreux que dans le reste des hôtels en Inde, mais c’est le prix pour profiter d’un lieu d’exception et de la douceur d’y vivre quelque jours

The property is owned by a French couple, who rent out the villas/rooms when they are not using it. The architecture of the main house is fantastic, and staying there felt like a homestay. The staff were very friendly and the food they served was delicious. The free use of the kayak was a nice touch.

If you just want to sit on a lounge chair and read a book, this is a great property. Since there isn’t much else to do in the surrounding area. The area just outside the property is very littered. And whilst this might be easier said than done, education of the local people (a few of whom work at the property) on the negative impacts of this would benefit everyone.

Cet endroit est un paradis sur terre. Un sublime eco Resort où tout est luxe discret et poésie. Les chambres sont extraordinaires, chaque détail est parfaitement pensé et le personnel est incroyablement présent, discret, à l’écoute et serviable. Cet endroit est une merveille.

Très bel environnement, une équipe au petite soin, on se sent très vite comme à la maison. Anish est vraiment un super hôte.

Tout. Absolument tout. Le lieu est extraordinaire., un jardin luxuriant agrémenté de nombreuses oeuvres d art. Une décoration magnifique , du goût dans chaque coin. Les repas sont i à la hauteur du lieu. Les personnels sont attentifs avec un sourire permanent. Que des bons moments à vivre dans cette étape. A recommander les yeux fermés !

La camera era molto spaziosa e la colazione buona ed abbondante.

Tutto troppo caro per quello che effettivamente viene proposto, a livello di qualità del servizio. In un luogo che ha quel prezzo a notte ci si aspetta un servizio molto più preciso: Le tovagliette sui comodini e quelle per la colazione e cena erano sporche. La cena carissima per gli standard della zona e per quello che è stato servito. Il manager non ci ha informato prima su tutte le attività che era possibile fare, se non i massaggi, e quando siamo arrivate abbiamo chiesto se fosse possibile fare una lezione di yoga la risposta è stata negativa perché, giustamente, c'era poco preavviso. Il posto ha un enorme potenziale ma dovrebbe essere curato un po' di più.

Beautiful and distinctive villa with lots of charm. Excellent hospitality and genuinely warm service throughout our stay. Dinner and breakfast served to the room were very good and added to the relaxed, intimate experience. Service was attentive and thoughtful.

We stayed in a room with an outdoor shower only, which was less convenient.
