Casa Allegra

The property and host were wonderful! The location, view and amenities were perfect. The beds were very comfortable and kitchen was well stocked. Parking was private and secure. Andrea met with us to give us the keys and gave us a tour, recycling instructions and food recommendations.

The shower head falls off easily and is a bit hazardous.

Interior is very nice. There is a garage for the the car.

Tiny shower, very small. Its hard to use it. Absolute zero soundproof, if neighbours talk, walk or watching tv, you will hear every word. There is a street next to apartment, from 7 am, you will not be able to sleep from noise of cars and motorbikes. Lucky we had ears plugs.

Very clean and great location .

A really wonderful and quite spacious apartment with two balconies and a terrace! There are a couple of nice restaurants nearby and a little local bar in the garage just round the corner. Everyone we encountered was very pleasant and helpful and the food in both restaurants was very good. I knew the apartment wasn't particularly central but hadn't realised that it was also up a hill. Our travelling companion was in her 70s and was very stoic about the walk but we felt a bit bad subjecting her to it. We did get the hang of catching the No 1 bus which made it a lot easier. Don't let the distance and hill prevent you from booking though, the apartment is well worth it, the buses are very regular. There is a timetable on each bus stop and the nearest stop to the apartment is about 1 minute's walk. Once you are on the bus it is just 5 minutes to the town centre. Very cool!

Just the hill, everything else was excellent and we had a lovely time on the lake, at Bellagio and Como and of course in Lecco town. Recommended.

Nice spacious apartment, about 10 minutes walk from the lake. Information booklet available with notes about places to go and things to see. Well equipped kitchen. Secure parking in basement garage. Lift available.

Nice apartment with comfortable beds and a nice view. Easy to gain entry once we arrived via a lockbox. A lift in the building, which is always a bonus. Quiet area. Clean.

4pm is quite late for an entry time, especially since the leaving time is 10am so we had quite a long time to fill before we could get in. The living room chairs were not particularly comfortable and I felt that more seating (perhaps another sofa) was needed for 4 people. There was a nice balcony but only 2 chairs on it. It is quite a hike into town (about 20 mins) and along quite a busy road. I felt it was expensive for the facilities provided.
