Casita Tulum

The bedroom and bathroom were fine, clean also. Only the lock on the door was broken. The owner fixed it but told us to warn him when it broke again. Tells me it breaks all.the time. Not very safe. The common spaces, terrace and kitchen, left a lot to desire. Chairs and table on the terrace were so broken you couldn't even sit on them if you insisted. The shared kitchen was not very complete, the fridge very old and filled with things people had left there. Which is okay, but a bit of sorting should be done. It is not expensive, but even then, if you offer a terrace with chairs, take care that you actually have it.

The room is like on the photos and really, really nice decorated and clean, also the bathroom. It’s in a 20 min walk from ADO bus station and to shops and restaurants, but I liked that it’s not in the hustle and bustle of town. It’s a nice area. Free bikes are great! Thanks! Communication with the host was great. I could leave my bags before and after check in. Also thanks for that

a bit loud because there is a main road around the corner (but i’m sensitive. doesn’t necessarily bother everyone) the kitchen could have a bit more utensils lika a pot (there were only pans) and a kettle to boil water the terrace is a bit run down and not as nice as on the photos anymore, but still great to chill bikes could use a bit of maintenance eventually
