Catania Smart Apartments

A very good location for cafes, high-end clothing stores, and a grocery store is only a few blocks away. A 40-minute walk to the historic centre, but at least one bus is very close and the closest Metro station cuts walking time in half. The central train station is less than a 20-minute walk. The unit is very spacious, with a nice bathroom. The owner/manager responds quickly, but there is very limited on-site service.

We were in the Messina unit for a week. Neither the bed nor the sofa were comfortable for me, but the bed was OK for my wife. The kitchen is good, but could use a toaster. The fridge has no freezer for ice. A Nespresso coffee machine is supplied, but you must buy your own pods. (Strangely, pods for a different model were available in the shared supply closet outside the unit.) The unit 'boasts' a balcony, but it's full of equipment and there's only about a square metre of open space. The view is dismal. The property description advertises a "beachfront" location, however, the building is about 300 m from the sea, and there is no water access at that point. From our room, there was no "stunning sea view" although perhaps that applies to other units. Owners should not make these general claims unless they apply to all units.

A very clean spacious and well designed apartment.We especially liked the extra touches provided like oil,salt etc.The location is out of Catania a little which made it more relaxing,buses were nearby so it was easy to get around.

sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet. Alles sehr modern. Nur eine Waschmöglichkeit wäre noch gut gewesen. Alles hat gut geklappt. Schwimmöglichkeit in der Nähe.

die Lage war etwas weit von allem entfernt und es gab wenig Restaurants in der Nähe. Dafür aber Anbindung mit Bus/U-Bahn und man kann in ca. 30 min zum Zentrum gehen. Das gute an der Lage war die Nähe zum Meer und einer guten Stelle zum Schwimmen.

部屋は最高にキレイ！ 帰りの空港までのタクシーを手配してくださったりと、スタッフの方も丁寧でした。

コレはbooking.com側の問題かと思いますが、ホテルで検索して決めたのに、スタッフの方からはハッキリと「ホテルでは無い」と言われました。 タオル交換がないのも減点。 しかもサイトには記載がなかったので少々困りました。 あと、空港からは少し遠いかな。

The apartment exceeded my expectations. It’s full of facilities, modern and functional. The apartment is located in a great neighborhood with cafes (bars), and the train station is right across the road and it’s 10 min to tje bus stop to the buses to Taormina and other major tourist attractions. Totally recommended!

The apartment is modern and clean, very comfortable bed. It was very cozy to stay there, I would book it again

No option to turn off A/C at night only by taking out the key for the entire electricity- which is not convenient. When it’s on, it’s very loud in the bedroom and not possible to sleep. The glass door in the shower is leaking. Coffee machine makes only espresso, no milk or cream was offered
