Some things could be more functional instead of looking good

The apartment is in the vicinity of a shopping mall. It's a home away from home. It's also secure. The host was a darling, just a phone call away.

A security code is required every time you come in and go out, but I can't fault the host on that.

It was stunning and comfortable

1. Keys were left in a lock box and host sent code at 2pm as agreed so key collection was easy. 2. Location was fine - except the neighbours beneath the apartment were very noisy. Also the address of Clairwood road does not work - one needs to just punch in The Paddocks. This took us round and round for ages trying to find the place. 3. Nice welcome note and flowers were left in the apartment but i would have preferred if the host checked the apartment prior to our arrival. 3. Access Codes - i was given one access code which was not ideal as we were attending an event and needed to go up and down. Host sent through additional access codes upon request 4. No Breakfast was included in this booking, we were 3 people and there was 2 unbagged tea bags left for us. I had to call the host and then she brought a few more through

1. Stairs ~ i asked about no of stairs prior to making the booking as i was travelling with my 79 yr mom & 84 year dad. i was told 8-10 steps when in fact there was in fact 2 sets of 8 stairs to get up to the apartment. 2. Listing says private pool - there was NO private pool for this apartment. there was a common pool which is very different. 3. Host did not have any dining room chairs and we were not informed of this - i had to call the host to enquire where the seats for the dining room chairs were. There was just 4 steel frames and hence my parents had no where to sit apart from the lounge suite which isn't ideal when eating a meal. 4. Towels - there was 2 worn out towels left for 3 people. i had to ask the host to bring additional towels down which she did but we had to make a plan in the interim as it was a very hot day and we need to shower and change before heading out again. 5. Bedrooms - the second bedroom had bedding on which had blood stains on it and curly black hair on the flat sheet and the duvet which clearly meant that the bedding was not washed/changed from the previous guest. There was no additional bedding in the apartment for me to change the bedding and hence this meant that i needed to find alternate accommodation for the night which was unnecessary additional expense. 6. Beds were so high that we had difficulty getting onto the beds especially with older people and there was no chairs to help get up onto the bed. 7. Fans - each bed room has a fan which was so noisy that it was better to not have it on. each fan had a two pin plug but there was only one double adapter in the apartment. The host said guests normally bring their own two pin plugs - i found this very strange as surely the host should supply the necessary plugs in order for us to use her fans. 8. I had to take photos of the missing/broken items in the kitchen and send to the host.

The place was so clean everthing in order n security very safe My car was also safe n my kids was so happy

Hospitality excellent

The stay was absolutely amazing. The vanity and overall space is to die for. I was actually amazed by the quality of the furniture, from the couch, the kicking utilities and bedding- absolutely stunning. I would encourage anyone that’s needs a bit of a breather to visit The Paddocks
