The owner was friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable and much more spacious than I expected from the photos. The room had a fridge and kettle, and the free use of a washing machine and tumble dryer was a bonus. The hotel was located very centrally, I could see the burial mounds from the hotel, and there were numerous restaurants nearby. Were I stay in Gyeongju again, this would be my first choice.

The hotel is located near the tomb complex, Gyeongju’s main attraction. The receptionist speaks English and is very friendly; he has a map ready for guests with recommendations on many places to visit. The hotel is close to markets and convenience stores, and the street is very quiet. It offers breakfast and also provides a water dispenser. Guests can even do their laundry free of charge! The rooms are spacious, and the bathrooms are very well equipped.

The hotel does not have an elevator, so if your room is on an upper floor and you are tired after a full day of walking, it can be quite difficult to get up there. Keep this in mind when booking, or request a room on the first floor! Breakfast is simple but enough to leave the hotel with a full stomach.

Habitación muy pequeña. Camas extremadamente juntas y con enchufes que eran tapados por las mismas camas. Solicité una habitación para 3, pero definitivamente era para 2. No contaba con elevador, y considerando que andábamos con maletas eso fue incómodo. El desayuno fue bastante precario, de autoservicio. existía pan de molde, mantequilla y mermelada en pequeños envoltorios individuales, Te y café.

The kind man running the establishment was very helpful, and even gave a whole explanation of the surrounding sights, important buses, etc. Strong english skills, and went above and beyond what a "standard" inn would provide. Our train out of Gyeongju left at 7pm, but he hapily held our luggage until then even after we checked out, so we could walk around far more easily that day. Small but quite good complimentary breakfast, and for such a great area (especially so close to the very lively Hwangnidan-gil street), the price was far better than anything else in the area. I would try to book far in advance since this was such a perfect 2-night stay.
