The spacious apartment and its facilities were excellent in a nice, quiet road. The air conditioning, although not modern, helped in the excessive heat and the washing machine/drying facility was a real bonus.

Nothing much, but it would have been nice and cosier to have some cushions on the sofa and some pictures on the bare walls - perhaps depicting the surrounding historic towns and places of interest, of which there were many, especially in Mandua.

Comfortable beds, the kitchen was quite well supplied with pans etc, and the shower was excellent. There were bicycles available (Mantua is a great cycling city), though we preferred to walk (too many cobbles for our elderly backs to enjoy a bike). The house is a brisk 15 minutes' walk from MaMu and around half an hour to the old town, though there are buses if you prefer. There's also a (clothes) washing machine and a pulley in the bathroom for drying.

The sheets on the second bed were microfibre (cotton on the main bed). One of the mugs was chipped, and there was no pan with a lid that fitted for, for example, boiling pasta.

The apartment was very spacious, easy to access on the groundfloor. We ha at our disposal a caffe machine with capsules, tea, some biscuits, oliva oil for salads, etc. We had bicicles at our disposal. One day a nice gentleman ringed at our door and offered us grapes just collected in the garden.
