Buddha Raksa

If you’re looking for luxury, keep scrolling. But if you’re after budget-friendly basics with a touch of charm, Buddha Raksa might just do the trick. The room was cool (props to the A/C), but the cleanliness—especially in the bathroom—was more “well-traveled backpacker” than “sparkling clean.” The furniture could use a little TLC, but hey, it’s functional. While it’s not beachfront, the short 10-minute stroll to Thong Nai Pan Yai is a pleasant trade-off for the price. You get what you pay for—and here, that’s decent comfort without breaking the bank.

Not directly but close to the beach

Bedding has no cover, so many people share the same. Some lamps were defect. No breakfast option. They call it a resort, but it is just a simple house with not well maintained rooms. They call it de luxe suite, but these are simple rooms, where not all is working properly.

There was nothing i liked.

The facility is dirty and looked like it had not been cleaned for about 2 weeks to a month prior to our stay. The facility looked like it hadnt been wiped clean since it first was opened. Dead centepedes in the bathroom, dirt and dust on every light switch and open surface. The bed was full of what looked like lice, and other bugs. Also a yellow stained sheet, on closer inspection. It had been raining, so the day we arrived the room was full of water, the roof leaking in both the kitchen and the bedroom. It had not been wiped up which led to no useage of the kitchen and me slipping and falling on the stone floor. We ended up sleeping on the small couch and leaving the next day. Hopefully the place sees better days and this was one of the bad ones.

Great AC, fridge, comfy bed, convienant location near the beach. Very quiet and peaceful place, away from crowds. 2 lovely dogs onsite who became our loyal companions during our stay :) the staff is very friendly, nice and helpful. Fair quality at an affordable price.

Could be a bit cleaner, but that wasnt a big issue. A bit annoying water regulation in the shower. I guess the biggest issue were neighbours - very loud, screaming people and a yelling child disturbed us from about 8 pm to 4 AM. And from the otherside of our hut there was renovation going on from early morning. I do realize that the hosts can do very little about it, so I am not taking off points in rating because of that.
