We spent 2 nights in the part of the accommodation called Swell Villas. We arrived from a 5-star resort and felt a bit unsure at first, but any concerns quickly disappeared. It’s important to keep in mind that this is not a hotel – these are bungalows, modern and Bali-style, but not a hotel, and the services work differently here. If you’re aware of that in advance, you won’t be disappointed. The facilities, surroundings, food, and staff – everything is excellent. The breakfasts are amazing, tasty, and generously portioned. Great coffee and smoothies, too. We ate exclusively at their restaurant throughout our stay and tried about 75% of the menu – and I can say with a peaceful heart that their food is fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. And last but not least – if you love dogs, you’ll feel right at home here.

The location is peaceful and the rooms are big and beautifully furnished. It has a very chilled vibe. The pool is lovely and breakfast menu is good.

No hot water throughout stay; the best it gets is like warm, the worst is freezing cold. Housekeeping is only every 3 days even though listing says every day. For us this is an issue for a property adjacent to the beach - you really need clean towels and sheets and the room swept and mopped daily. At this price point daily housekeeping should be happening. The breakfast menu is good but to only be allowed one dish and one drink is quite limiting - we would expect juice and coffee as a minimum and toast should be standard, not your only choice, so this needs work at this cost point. The light coming into the bedroom via the glass door is not great at sunrise on holiday. This could be improved easily with a curtain in the room.
