The location is a popular district for young people

This was supposed to be a convenient one-night stay before our early flight to Japan. Upon arrival at 2:45 pm, 45 minutes after check-in, we were appalled by the state of the apartment. It was not clean and ready for our arrival. Towels and sheets were not washed, the garbage bin was overflowing with used toilet papers, the floors and table were covered with stains and food crumbs. Given these issues, we had to vacate the premises for cleaning, which wasn't even completed properly, leaving the floors still dirty. Additionally, there were only enough linens for 6 guests, despite the listing indicating that the place was suitable for 7. The pull-out sofa was also in a concerning state, it looked dirty and worn, and it seemed like it hadn't been deep cleaned in a while. Given the condition of the couch, one of our family decided to go the airport 14 hours before the flight. I've reached out to the host to request compensation for the horrid experience and have not gotten a response. It's worth noting that the apartment's condition goes beyond just cleanliness, showing signs of neglect. There are black mold on the bathroom door and ceiling, and a hazardous light fixture in the kitchen that's hanging by a thread. I would advise potential guests to exercise caution if they prioritize their peace of mind and hygiene.

Clean apartment, very close to Hongik Station

There is only 1 toilet in the apartment

The location is perfect. It takes around 5-7 min to get to either bus or subway station. The apartment was clean. There were lots of flip flops which was quite convenient. There are a lot of cute coffee shops, bars and restaurants around. It’s quite at night so don’t worry, you can sleep peacefully at night. We also really liked the price, it’s so cheap! There’s also TV, we watched some movies on it. If it’s your first time in Seoul, I think this location is just right. Also, owner allowed us to stay longer at check out day which was really sweet.
