"DEPOSIT SCAM!! WASTE OF MONEY AND TIME !! Worst of all property!!"

Upon arriving at the accommodation, we faced a series of issues that have raised serious concerns about the hospitality and professionalism of the property owner. The following incidents occurred: Racist Remarks and Discrimination: The owner allegedly made racist comments, suggesting that, as Filipinos, we were not entitled to file complaints with the police. This discriminatory behavior is completely unacceptable. Delayed Check-In and Poor Communication: After booking at 4 pm, we were informed that the room needed preparation, resulting in a total wait time of 6 hours outside the accommodation. We entered the property at around 10-11pm, they have a lot of excuses like the owner is not in the city or they need to clean the room. During this period, communication was erratic, and the owner was unreachable, causing inconvenience and discomfort. Late Check-In and Security Issues: Upon finally entering the accommodation at 11 pm, we discovered a broken door. Despite concerns for our safety, we had no option but to proceed due to the late hour and lack of alternative accommodations they won't also give back money as it was non refundable as per them. Unreasonable Cash Demand: The owner insisted on a cash payment of 600 PLN for entry, refusing bank transfers. This demand was unjustified and raised questions about the legitimacy of the transaction. Failed Refund Commitment: The owner assured us of a refund on Monday afternoon, but we waited from 5 pm to 11 pm with no refund processed. Subsequently, the owner blocked our communication channels, leaving us without the promised resolution and a loss of PLN 1050. Negative Reviews and Potential Scam: Recent reviews on your platform suggest a pattern of similar experiences with this property. Alleged scams, broken facilities, and unclean conditions seem to be recurring issues, indicating a potential breach of trust. "Awful, beware of that host, do not book unless you want to pay extra with deposit."

The only positive was the location. In the centre of Warsaw. Other than that, no positives

The apartment has a lot of broken furniture, i.e. chairs or with missing elements, like washing machine without door! Beware, the host will try to blame it on you. The host was late with handing the keys at agreed time, blaming traffic and weather (?!?). The worst part is the deposit. The host collects it but doesn't want to give it back after 14 days as specified. Coming up with numerous excuses, including inability to use internet, sickness of a person that helps her with these sort of stuff, any other excuse she can think of. It took several calls to the host over few days, intervention from Booking.com and threatening to call authorities in Poland for the host to finally return deposit (delayed!).
