USThe location is amazing. Your are close to the Electrico 28 and to the Metro. There are restaurants and grocery stores all within a few minutes walk. The apartment has been recently refurbished and is very clean.
Climbing three flights of stairs and no air conditioning was expected but it isn't for everyone. Other than that, no complaints. If you do leave the windows open at night, make sure to bring earplugs if noise bothers you. It's not as loud as other streets in other districts - par for the course in an older European city - so it's better to deal with it effectively than complain!
AUMaria was fantastic, out flight was delayed so we stayed in contact via what's app whilst waiting for immigration, which took hours, then she arrived at the same time to let us and show us around. Location was fantastic.
USGood location. Walkable distance to lots of restaurants. Quite at night. Maragarida was a great host and very helpful and responsive to all my questions. The owner also is good at communicating.
1. Two guys offering and selling drugs right below the arch (where you have to pass to get to the apartment) They offer it even if they see you with kids. This is not the owners fault at all but didn’t feel safe passing by everyday with my girls. 2. Uber or taxis are going to leave you far from the apartment since there is restricted access to the apartment. 3. No elevator. Narrow stairs not suitable for young kids or older people. Can be very tiring after a long day walking around. 4. There is no AC on the apartment, just floor fans. I have to mention that we were ok with just fans but it was also beginning of June, not sure during July or August when it gets hotter. 5. There are not enough bed sheets or pillows if you are a group of more than 4. 6. The washing machine was very dirty.
HRThe location is perfect, the apartment is nice, cozy, well equipped. Recommend! Just for info - apartment is on the 3rd floor with old narrow and steep stairs.
MTEverything was excellent especially the location, just a walk away from Terreiro de Paco Metro station. Very sweet and helpful owners too.
Be prepared for a 3 storey flight of stairs especially if you have loads of luggage to carry.

This was not a problem for us at all, but could be for someone else - apartment is on the upper floor with old narrow and steep stairs.
GBLovely clean bright appartment conveniently close to the centre and the Cathedral. Situated in in an older terraced house but decor was fresh and modern. Loved the sound of the cathedral bells to wake us in the morning! (Don't worry, they don't ring before 8am!)
Beds were very firm and only one pillow each. Comfy if you sleep on your back or front, but not if you are a side sleeper!
