We stayed one night on Ludicks Farm on our way to Cape Town....and it was absolutely worth it! The ostrich farm itself is already one reason for a stop, but the views make it so much more worth it. The little villas are comfortable and decorated with taste, including some beautiful paintings. The fireplace outside caters for the extra countryside atmosphere. Etienne is a great host, clearly loves the place and takes very good care of the villas. After a delicious breakfast catered for at request, he showed us around the farm while explaining the various expects of farming the ostriches. We all greatly enjoyed our stay.

Secluded and a great place to relax ahead of the long flight home. Lovely amenities and pool. Host was really helpful and breakfast service very good (loved homemade Jam)

A lot of flies in the area - candles or sprat recommended when staying

Location excellent but the team, especially the manager, provided amazing support. The home cooked food was just perfect and very tasty.

The farms sign on R62 was set too far back, so we missed it.

"Beautiful Views with Hot Tub!"

We loved staying at Ludicks Farm hosted by Etienne (and the ostriches!) The cottage was perfect for us as family of 4, we enjoyed having the hot tub on for sundowners alongside the gorgeous views for the rest of the day. A cooked breakfast was served by Etienne (for a little bit of an extra cost) which was welcomed. We enjoyed the proximity to Montagu too
