Staycation budget room

Water heater for shower, good mattress, new towels and bedsheet, microwave oven. After I asked: 1) they provided me with a large drinking water container, the size of a jerrycan; 2) adjusted the aircon; 3) adjusted the Netflix on the TV, but not regular channels or Youtube.

Half a dozen of the features listed for this property in their page in Booking.com are not available. I was shown an alternative room that was about the same. No curtain for shower and its drain is not lower than the rest of the floor: bathroom/wc always flooded. Building on a 10 lane road with no side-walks (pavements) and hardly anywhere to walk. 7/11, laundry shop, and one eatery inside the area. change of towels/bed sheets are charged. No electric plug or light switch on bed-side table. No bed sheets for sofa-bed. Many cockroaches always around.

The staff are very helpful and very efficient.

I booked on-line for 3 individuals and paid the total however was after arrival at the residence that need to pay extra for the same adult which I paid. Abit upset about it. Also checked out after lunch was was still charged though! Very frustrated. 😔

The internet was good enough, security guards from the building were nice and supermarket was "close".

TOTAL SCAM, they have a location in Booking as near the airport when actually is in Alabang, way far South of Manila. I had to take 3 buses to get to Manila downtown and a Grab or Move it from here is super expensive, so not worth it at all. The pictures from the property are totally not updated, things are rusty and dirty, even the pot to boil water had eggs inside and the washer machine island bathroom are super dirty, you can see how the owner doesn't invest in their own place. Also there is an infestation of cockroaches, they're literally everywhere sometimes while working on the bed they appeared next to you, when you cook a bunch start to come out and even on the table they suddenly appeared on my legs, you feel uncomfortable all the time. I asked the owner to refund my money once I got there and realized the location wasn't what they have and they didn't refunded me actually was super rude to say "you should have booked a hotel instead with all the money you paid", Booking.com didn't help either because they said if the owner didn't approve a refund they couldn't process, even tho they're lying about the place and booking is responsible for not verifying and blocking these type of places. I had to live there 3 weeks and honestly I just hope nobody else goes through the same, this is an industrial neighborhood so not much to do around and cannot go out at night.
