Khemara Sovannphum Hotel

Nice pool.

Didn't like open air breakfast area... too hot. Air-conditioning in room wasn't working, fridge wasn't working, huge amount of dust under the fridge

The hotel was located on a ring road away from shops but only five minutes from Pub Street which was a plus for me. The bonus was that the local circus show was just up the road and to get to the Temples by scooter was really easy, the staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make the stay a pleasure

I’m not used to swimming in a warm pool but that was a weather issue, the tv wasn’t working

The staff was very friendly, doung their best. The A/C was a bit weak, but when mentioning it, it was fixed.

The breakfast could have been better. Rhe koxation is a bit far from everything.

They organized a TukTuk driver to bring us to Angkor Wat for sunrise. The driver was very friendly.

The staff was friendly but they did not speak English very well. Some of them actually didn't understand the easiest questions (questions that tourists probably ask very regularly). The breakfast was not very good, for example: There was toast but no toaster that worked - it was an old oven and you needed to turn a screw to kind of make it work - very weird. The pool was not cool at all - it felt like old water that had been sitting there (it was warmer then the air - which was like 36 degrees). The rooms were okay but did not look like on the photos at all. Also, there was no free drinking water - you had to pay for it. Hotels I had stayed at before always offered drinking water for free. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. It is also far away from the city center and it feels like living in a lost area.

Staff was friendly but with very poor English

The photos are totally misleading, the hotel obviously suffered through COVID and it needs serious renovations. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, the room smelled bad and the pool wasn't chlorinated. Moreover the location is remoted and it made me feel unsafe during nighttime.

Property good and staff support excellent .

1. Rooms dust and cobwebs need to clean 2. No Hot water because of less rooms occupancy 3. TV not working but it ok
