Aulona Tourist Apartment

The location was right of the expressway so easy access and 15 minutes from the City. Quiet area with close in patio and house for privacy. Ocean waves day and night were fantastic. Huge patio area and garden area below with swing (and washing machine. Well equipped kitchen with refrigerator and freezer. Love the trilli mancave. Lovely sand beach area within short walk. Our GPS misdirected us and they were patient with us trying to find it. Great host. Two bedroom, great for night and great for one for dark room naps. Grocery store within 10 minutes.

Wonderful place! We were welcomed with so much care and attention — everything was perfect. The location is excellent and we had such special moments here. It will definitely stay in our memories with great fondness. Highly recommended!

No market or shops in a short walking distance

Anna was very good at communicating before I arrived, even when I ended up arriving later than I expected. I loved the property so much! I ended every evening in the trullo/lounge which was so cozy. The beds are very comfortable. I would rate the firmness as medium to firm, which I like, and they were big enough for me and my husband, and we are two big Americans. The linens were also very soft and nice and the perfect weight. There was good clothes storage in the bedrooms and extra touches like bedside shelves that charge your phone if you want and have reading lamps. The house was immaculate and the bathroom was definitely recently renovated—very nice—with shampoo, condition, soap, and body wash available along with nice large towels. The patio is very nice to relax on in the evening and I was able to hang my hand washing and swimsuits out there. We did not cook but the kitchen has everything you need to cook including some basic condiments/seasonings, coffee (we used that!), toasts for breakfast, and a bottle of wine and water to start our stay off right! We enjoyed the wine on the patio listening to the waves. If you do like coffee, there are three ways to make it—Nespresso, drip coffee pot, and Moka pot. A+ for coffee lovers! The nearest sandy beach was SO close—and is well protected so I would imagine good for younger children. (And people like me who are not strong Ocean swimmers). If you like to fish, there were people fishing every day right by the house. The Wi-Fi was strong, and if you want to watch TV, there are four televisions so if you are traveling with friends or family, there will be no arguments on what to watch. Though I’d recommend spending more time outside enjoying the Puglia weather if possible! It was so easy for us to park and venture out during the day. It was truly—or should I say Trulli ;) —perfect!

I loved it. If I have to say something, the only thing that might be helpful for some people as they decide where to stay is that the doorway is a little low on the one hallway, and the shower was a bit small—like I said though, we are tall and wide and Americans, so used to bigger spaces. This didn’t bother me at 5’9” (175 cm) but my husband 6’3” (190cm) hit his head a few times. I would also consider putting a shelf or shower caddy in the shower for soap, etc. But as I said, I loved it!

The house was in an ideal location on the beach. The house was spotless There were very good resturants in San Vito within walking distance. A great location to see the sites of Puglia The host was freindly and accomodationing
