Humble Abode

Amazing little place. Just the right size for the five of us. Very clean and fresh. Very private. In a quiet area. Service was amazing. Very friendly and helpful.

Bed could do with more support (we’re big people!). Washing machine was mouldy but Nora was willing to help us out when we told her. Better instructions to find it - GPS took us to the poor neighbours who obviously deal with it often. Was obvious once it was pointed out though!

This was a beautiful, clean new home with everything you could need during your stay. Nora is a lovely lady, and nothing is too much trouble. Some of our party arrived much earlier than indicated. Nora welcomed them and didn't make them feel at all bad.

parking a bit of a concern - space for a car but not secure. Worried overnight that it was vulnerable to thieves - nothing happened so just overthinking it maybe.

It's a beautiful 3 bedroom apartment in a great location close to shops. The apartment was clean and well stocked with extra towels and blankets. We were provided with a great range of cereals for breakfast and plenty of milk for a family of 4. Nora was a lovely host and always replied quickly to our enquiries. There is a small driveway in front of the apartment where you can park a small to medium size car.

If the modern exterior hadn't worked its charm on us the inside definitely did. Greeted with beautiful fragrances upon entry into the Humble Abode it housed everything one might need, giving it that homey feel which our family enjoyed very much. We couldn't have asked for more and didn't have to as all our boxes were ticked. The house came with all the bells and whistles and some. Washer/dryer machine, Dishwasher, stove top and oven, providing all the necessities one would need and use during their stay. The indoor/outdoor flow once the bifold doors were fully opened worked a treat in the auckland heat. The blinds really did their job at keeping the sun at bay. The hosts were amazing and were very helpful and pleasant to communicate with. We'll definitely be back ❤️

There wasn't anything we didn't like but I guess an air con unit could have saved us throughout the bipolar auckland weather.

Just missing a somewhere (a dining table/chairs) to sit and eat as a family. But I understand space was limited.

The room are nice and tidy.very convenient for our family of 3.

No Aircon and TV not working even the owner sent his brother to fix it only work one day and next day not working.
