Agriturismo Avola Antica

The property has a lovely rustic charm with stunning views from all communal areas. Nestled in the hills, the grounds were well laid out and the pool area good (although swimming pool was empty when we visited). The staff were absolutely delightful and breakfast was adequate. A set meal was available in the evenings and a good selection of wines offered. Good base to reach Saracusa / Ortigia and the hilltop towns in Noto region (Ragusa etc) plus minutes drive from Cava Grande.

Bedroom was not what was booked, small and claustrophobic but luckily there was access to outdoor space.

There were NO windows in the room or bathroom, the other rooms were the same. There was a glass panel in the door but there was a curtain over it. Room was very dark. We were not allowed to put paper in the toilet after we had used it, we were told to put it in a plastic bin next to the toilet. This is not acceptable and we left after one night. We would not go back.

The host really cares about guests and their comfort. The food is delicious and the rooms are very clean. Great time there 10/10

Location is quiet and with amazing view! Rooms are clean and cozy. Staff really friendly and helpful. Food delicious!

Lovely spot, with great views. The food was fantastic and staff and chef went above and beyond to cater for one of our group of has a particular allergy.

Sometimes it was a little hard to track staff down to assist with questions, but they were very helpful when they were present. Also, a broader selection of aperitif would have been welcome when dining in. The choice was very limited, without even traditional choices, such as Campari.

Location was great, and as we wanted for the time we were their, the breakfast was really good, but varied between staff on duty. The evening restaurant was excellent, food was fantastic with great service, no need to leave the complex in the evening.

Excellent food, beautiful location, and view. Close to Noto, Vendicari beaches, and Cavagrande del Cassibile (beautiful canyon with waterfalls). The host was very nice and helpful.
