The place is okay. The outside bathroom was not a train smash for me. The room was spacious, the blankets were clean and very warm, i also liked how quiet the location was.

I booked the accommodation during the day as an emergency, following the sudden loss of a family member. Immediately after booking, I tried calling the host for directions, but the phone was switched off, and they were completely unresponsive to my messages in the Booking.com inbox. Because I was unfamiliar with the area, I needed to speak to someone for directions. To make matters worse, the location provided on the app led us into the middle of nowhere in total darkness. I had been trying to locate the place since 7:00 PM and only managed to locate the place at 11:00 PM! thank God for a Good Samaritan who eventually helped us find our way. When we finally arrived, the gate was locked and there were dogs. I have a severe phobia of dogs, so we stayed in the car and called the host repeatedly, but there was still no answer. Because it was 11:00 PM, the host wasn't responding, and there was no intercom, we finally decided to hoot out of desperation. After making us wait for 10 minutes, she eventually opened the gate. She was furious that we had hooted and claimed we hadn't booked at all. I assured her that we did. Throughout this entire exchange, she spoke to us from inside the house while i remained trapped in the car due to my fear of the dogs (my nephew had to walk to her with my phone). She then simply handed us the keys and told us to "figure it out ourselves," without explaining where the room was or which key to use. All the while, the dogs were still roaming outside. Her only concern was the fact that we had hooted, showing absolutely no regard for how unsafe we felt, stranded in an unfamiliar area, waiting outside in the dark with zero communication from her. She mentioned she was robbed but surely this was no reason to project it on us. We were clients that paid to sleep, I sympathise with her experience but I would not be booking with this place again.

The area was quiet and safe, and the dogs were so friendly Host was very helpful at all times

We had no water on Saturday morning and we had an early morning, which was such an inconvenience, we ended up having to bath the traditional way in a small bucket. Sharing the common areas with the host was a little weired, it felt like we sleeping in someones house rather than a booked accommodation especially in terms of privacy

Dissapointed, no Breakfast with the amount of money paid.

The owner was very friendly and patient. The place was clean and welcoming.

I struggled a bit with the location but they were just a phone call away for support.

1. The address on Booking is deceiving, maps took us to a very scary place, when we called for the direction, the host was not even sure where is the place, we had to wait for over 40 min waiting to get the direction. The honest lacks hospitality, honesty and communications skills and instead of accepting the current conditions she looked for reasons to try to reason as why the address is wrong. 2. The place was dirty, spiders were moving in the ceiling. 3. The geyser is outside the building, you need to climb something to switch the geyser on. Its a process, imagine arriving late at night and had to go outside to switch the geyser on then after bathing you must go outside to switch it off, and the are dog's outside. Everything about the place its bad. 4. Worst of all, the toilet is outside, you to exit the room to go to the toilet. 5. The pictures are deceiving as well. 6. The place is not that cheap, R630 per night and it is not worth it, please top up with R100 extra to get a better place.
