Canal Cabins

Very nice and cozy. Cabins were well done and restrooms included showers. Convenience store and restaurant nearby.

Steep Gravel hill just as you arrive at the cabins. Had to get out of the bike saddle and the rear wheel slipped on loose gravel. Walked up it the second time after a short trip to the store.

We liked the private small cabin (just enough room, not too small) and the bathroom facility and laundry, as well as bike wash area, were all perfect. Felt lucky we found this place! Communication via booking.com app was nice too, even though staff was not on premises.

Just that the pillows were too thick…not good for our necks to sleep. Everything else was good.

Beautiful and fun stay in a renovated bus!

Convenient location for cycle trail. French press.

Very spongy unsupportive mattress and the absence of curtains (white Venetian blinds do not block light). No control over the light sources causing light pollution. Trekking across the site in the middle of the night to the toilet.

No breakfast but great French press for coffee!

Very close to the C&O Canal Trail. Clean and well appointed rooms. Outdoor fire pit and picnic tables with each cabin. Self service laundry was provided.
